I have just found this blog and look forward to reviewing the materials referenced. I have noticed an increased connection between my chronic back pain and resulting anxiety. The pain can be (somewhat) handled by meds, moderate exercise, or resting - the anxiety is more difficult to manage. I am hoping the blog provides additional non-drug methods to resolve the anxiety.

I have just found this blog and look forward to reviewing the materials referenced. I have had three lumbar back fusions over a 30 year period. I have noticed an increased connection between my chronic back pain and anxiety. The pain can be (somewhat) handled by meds, moderate exercise, or resting - the anxiety is more difficult to manage. I have been seeing a counselor off and on over 20 years, and recently have been seeing a psychatric nurse. I am hoping the blog provides additional non-drug methods to resolve the anxiety. The combination of pain and anxiety meds have had an negative impact on my career.
