Let’s Learn To Overcome Chronic Pain Management Obstacles for Freedom from Suffering
Today I want to discuss what I see as one of the major obstacles for people receiving treatment for chronic pain management. In my video I discuss how often patients are not assessed and diagnosed for coexisting problems and even when they are identified that more often than not they are not adequately addressed. All of the best practice standards for chronic pain management highlight the importance of using an integrated multidisciplinary approach. Unfortunately, in the United States we are more prone to symptom management; especially by over-prescribing opiates.
