		<description>Dr. Grinstead,
Thank you so much for posting this blog. I am going to order your publications and plan to use them. I've been in recovery for over 15 years and lately I've been very concerned that my chronic pain and the meds I need to take mean I have lost my "sobriety." I've looked at a number of your articles and believe me I have a new sense of hope and relief.

Thank you, thank you, thank you,

<description>Dr. Grinstead, I love your point that our denial has paid off in dealing with chronic pain, and yet it can become our biggest enemy. Personally I knew it was time for me to have surgery when I began to reach for more drugs beyond the pain meds to control my pain. I knew that if there was something that gave me relief, there would be no denying that I would be consuming it whether it was harmful or not.
Now I am trying to deal with accepting the fact that chronic pain can return and I feel that I am not as equipped to deal with it this time. So i guess i want to deny my denial.
