Sierra Tucson Provides Exceptional APM™ Chronic Pain Management

Friday, September 26th, 2008

I’ve spent that last few days back in the desert in Tucson for my final site visit at the Sierra Tucson Pain Program.  Sierra Tucson is our first Addiction-Free Pain Management® (APM) Center of Excellence and I’m very pleased to say that they are providing the best treatment in the country for anyone with chronic pain and coexisting psychological disorders including addiction. Please Click Here  to read more about our APM™ Center of Excellence Program.

The Sierra Tucson Pain Program has already met over 90 percent of the APM™ Center of Excellence (COE) requirements and at the end of January 2009 will move from Provisional status to full APM™ COE Designation.  They treat patients who have failed at many other treatment modalities; they help them find hope, experience an increased level of functioning and a much improved quality of life.

For over 24 years, Sierra Tucson’s compassionate care and clinical excellence have helped people rebuild their lives. Dually licensed as a Specialty Hospital and a Level 1 Psychiatric Acute Hospital, professional staff incorporates medical and psychiatric services with 12-Step philosophy, traditional, experiential, integrative therapies, and a comprehensive Family Program. Accredited by JCAHO; a member of CRC Health Group. For information or a confidential consultation, please call 800-842-4487.  To read more about the Sierra Tucson Pain Program please Click Here.
